Gingham is without question one of my favorite patterns. And, I LOVE how J. Crew is offering multiple variations of this gorgeous print including several colorways from navy and white to peony and pink ivory. Moreover, I love how the gingham pattern is oversized on certain pieces and smaller in scale on others. There are a variety of gingham styles including trench coats, blazers, sweaters, dresses, shirts, shoes, and skirts! The offerings are SOOO fab, too! I love how great gingham looks when paired with a fun graphic t-shirt because the pattern stands out and pops! And, I am convinced that no retailer does gingham better than J. Crew!
Here are a few of my favorite ways to style gingham with a graphic t-shirt. This Jane of All Trades shirt is one of my favorites not only because it is super cute, but also (and perhaps more important) because it embraces and encourages gender empowerment in an adorable way. I cannot count the number of times that I have screamed after passing a “Men Working” sign in a construction zone or after reading an incredibly sexist post on social media. This shirt is a reminder to value women and the multiple forms of work that we do, too! I think that this graphic t-shirt sends an incredible message to girls and women!
Here are two ways that I have styled this gorgeous shirt with J. Crew gingham pieces. I took a size XL in the shirt.

I love how the t-shirt looks with both the J. Crew Parke Blazer in Gingham Bi-Stretch and the Sophie Open-Front Gingham Sweater! The blazer is a classic, streamlined, and tailored look while the sweater offers a more relaxed and casual look. I would wear both looks in the classroom, but I would definitely reach for the sweater blazer on the weekends for running errands or a fun date night with my amazing hubby! Graphic t-shirts are a major staple in my wardrobe because they are incredibly versatile and fun. I love the powerful messages on them, too!
